Hi all I'm in need of some ideas please I've just finish rebuilding the back end of my car. put it back on the floor, drove it around my car park all fine tested new lsd ;) still all good come and started it today and now won't rev over 5000rpm now. Only thing I've touch since I put it in is the airflow metre tryed disconnecting it and trying still the same out come it had a danth ews delete and raised rev limit... Only mentioned as someone told me it may be the ecu but I'm not so sure thinking of maybe a crank sensor or lambs sensor as have recently taken the out and put back in.

Any idea or help much appreciated pleeeeaaassee

speed signal 100% car is in limp mode.

clear the faults and revs up to 6.5k but will go to limp mode again
the ECU thinks the ABS is not working. check your wiring as its a common mistake!!!

Is this a newly finished conversion that's never revved over 5k, or have you been driving it around all fine and it's suddenly limited itself to 5k?

As you've used one of Dans looms and the fact it's been ok, you can probably rule out the speed signal.

It's more than likely something you've disturbed, you mention the lambda sensor etc...
I think duff or badly connected lambda sensors will put the engine into limp mode for example.

Have you connected the 2 lambda sensors the wrong way around on the top of the engine.

The rear plug on the top of the engine takes the lead from the lambda sensor for the front 3 cylinders and the front plug the rear 3 cylinders.
