My car is starting a bit weak. After driving to the gym yesterday, I parked the car facing uphill, and when I returned and tried the start the car, it felt very weak. The car ticked over fine and started first time without problem, but it was a bit hesitant and slow to fire up, the revs were very low. After starting, it was immediately fine. Bearing in mind, the car has idle issues, and I'm currently trying to diagnose the problem.

Could this be due to it facing uphill and therefore the fuel couldn't be pumped efficiently?

Also, I notice when starting the car, all the dash lights stay on, until I press the accelerator peddle, after which they immediately go out. What can this be? The brake pad light is also flickering.

And lastly, there is an intermittent whine coming from the engine bay. Sometimes it goes away, and at other times it comes back. It's whining about 80% of the time. What could this be?

Thanks
