i just got hold of m3 running gear, subframe, arms, struts etc.. for my project car....

thing is i wanna strip it and paint it all gloss black..

how do i do this and what primer and paint should i use.

i was gonna just go over it with a wire brush on the end of a drill then use a regular anti-rust primer then whack some thick layers of gloss black on it...

help appreciated

thanks

Cleaning paint off may be more user friendly with a simple paint stripper - just keep it away from the rubber bits.

As for re-coating, see www.Frosts.co.uk for their chassis paint, etc.
