Hello,

It is quite intimidating posting pictures on here due to the amount of awesomeness on this forum, but here are some shots of my old 318is, and the new purchase. I look forward to learning some new things and being apart of this E30 community. Enjoy!

Here is a shot battling a Type-R @ Willow Springs Raceway:

Welcome, why did you sell the previous car?, looked really nice. New one also looks good, hope its all solid, interesting interior in that also, I see you got the airbag steering wheels.

What are the future plans?

I've noticed that American's tend to buy/sell car's like mad and I really don't understand it. Anyhow I really like that 4th pic.
Was that a home tint job on the taillights or MHW's on the first car?

Thank you for the welcome. I sold my car due to losing a job and needing some money to stay a float unfortunately, however things in life have significantly improved since then. As for the new one, she is solid aside from an oil gasket leak. I'm not sure if E30's in the UK came with the airbag steering wheel or not, I personally hate them. 8O

Future plans, which may seem kind of funny is to obtain all of the Euro parts for aesthetics, and simple performance mods such as a chip, upgraded intake system, super sprint exhaust, z4 short shift kit, and an upgraded lightweight flywheel, upgraded braking systems, upgraded diff, and other misc maintenance...

Really the vision is to build something simple and clean, that also improves on the factory driving experience.

Unfortunately your observation is spot on. The e30 markets out here are all over the place. IMO too many crap e30's are being sold way over proper pricing. It wasn't a very popular car when I first had my 87 325is, then every kid driving a stanced Civic wanted one. Now people sell for $5-$6K for beat up high mileage E30's just trying to make a profit, the sad and frustrating thing is people buy them....

As for the tail lights they are original smoked MHW's which I can't seem to find anymore. So if anyone has a set they are willing to part with... winkeye

From what I've noticed over the past month or two, over here E30's seem to get thrown about lot, the worst thing is a lot of the sellers lie about their condition when selling them. However the guys on here can spot a knackered E30 from a picture or two. Not to mention their restoration work, it's incredible.

The taillights.... I really wish I could find a set of Black MHW's too, I've got a set of Red's, which I took off my car (want to keep them safe  ) after seeing ONE pair on eBay for around £1k about two weeks ago, I doubt they sold, but the fact that there is literally none for sale is frustrating.
