Yep funds will be tight when you're at uni, because you'll be spending it all on beer and hookers :D

I haven't spoke to Gunni for a couple of months now, but im sure he's still kicking about

I fired him off an email via his website the other day about the PNP VEMS, he replied but just said he isn't doing it anymore. But all is not lost, VEMS themselves are offering a PNP 88 pin ecu and it's pretty well priced 8)

Hopefully Gunni will be able to do remote tuning for me, otherwise I'm going to have a right problem getting the car somewhere to be mapped. Would sending me your map be an option? As it won't be that for off what I will need and I can probably get that tweaked for far less over here

Ahh right, I didnt know he had stopped doing the wiring/tuning side of things,
But if you can get the adapter from VEMS, then Happy days :D

Erm....

nope lol
your engine would have to be the exact same as mine, from the compression ratio to the fuel pressure, spark, basically a like for like engine,

besides,

do you know how much this map cost me
lol

Ah cool no worries. I am contemplating learning to tune it myself, at least to a drivable stage as it's becoming a bit of a worry for me. There is a guy who fancies himself as a "tuner" on the island but have heard of too many cars making less power than before and a couple blown engines so think I'll stay away!

I was watching a few homemade video's earlier. Are there proper vids? I'll have a search.I would actually love to learn to map it myself, part of wanting to do this was to learn new stuff. I just don't want to brick the lump!

Yeah there's a load of them on the tube, direct from VEMS

It would be good to learn that side of things,
myself..... I just dont have the patience
and would hit it with a hammer :D

Do you still have your 618 pressure plate and could you be tempted to sell if you do?

Turbo should be here tomorrow, it's at customs right now :D
