Hi, which Z3 short shifter is recommended to use with a M40B18 gearbox?

The 1.9 Z3 shifter. The 2.8 is shorter, but I found it to make a very notchy gear change.

Yes everything can be bought from the dealer, although the price of the lever has gone up since that in the wiki link. The lever is around £50 now iirc. You might find one on ebay, but quite often ebay prices are more than the dealers!
