E30 Brake upgrade (rear question)

Hi Guys

I just wanted to find out 2 things:
1.) If one upgrades the front brakes to a bigger disc and 4 pot calipers, is it necessary to upgrade the rears as well?

2.) Has anyone done the E46 328i rear brake upgrade for the E30, if so, what is the required process?

P.S: I have read through the brake upgrade wiki but I could not find a conclusive answer!

1.) Not with our WMS kits, especially if you choose the smaller of the front 4-pot piston sizes.
2.) We have a rear 2-pot kit too tat uses this kind of size disc (stock levels vary though)
