Hi I need to change the diff on my m20b28. At the moment it has the standard 320i cab diff which I think is a 4.10 or 4.27 open diff.
My question is will a 3.64 lsd do the job on my m20b28

Iv seen a 3.64 diff which has 6 bolts on the rear plate, does that mean it is a small case different?
If so can I put a small case on my mob 28th?
What will be the best ratio to go for, im after something that has a bit of both worlds (power economy)

3.64 is ideal, IMHO, for a 2.8 M20 with bags of torque, but a small case won't think much of that torque at all! Medium case (188) required.

4 bolts on the side covers should be a small case

I only bumped it as I'm confused, I thought 3.64 lsd was only available as a medium case diff not a small caseBrianmoooore wrote:For what? All questions have been answered.aceifty wrote:Bump
