Hi, my tach, mpg and clock still won't work, I've changed the si board, checked the loom connection, that's fine. Check fuse 10 and 21.... And can't see anything wrong with the wiring?! Anyone got any other ideas? Pretty sure the si battery are ok as service lights all come on with ignition and go of once started. Doin my nut in now

When you say "check" the fuse, it's worth swapping them as they can soft-blow, meaning they break without looking broken. It's been the cause of more than one niggle on my own car.

Yeah, 10 and 21 looked a bit tiered so I changed them for new ones... Stumped

I had issues with my instruments this week.. I dismantled all down and checked for loose connections, greased all moving parts and it seems to be working fine now.

I took the dials out, inspected the gears and soldier connections etc

sprayed some easy grease or we 40 on moving parts.

just make sure you use latex gloves when handling the dials as any marks will be difficult to remove especially if you get we 40 on it.

Analogue clock is not affected in any way by the SI board or the instrument cluster.
It gets its power from fuse 21 and is earthed at the stud behind the glovebox.
Take the clock out, pull off the pplug and connect a small 12 volt bulb between the brown and red/green wires.
