I can't remember the cost but I think I have the PMs from Gareth. I wanted the "works"

I asked the surgeon to take pics innit because I am spesh.

All the nurses were impressed with my E30 325i Sport innit.

If you want a LSD I would go for one of these
Rebuilt BMW OEM LSD
Quaife LSD
Kaaz 2-way LSD
All are much cheaper than brand New Genuine BMW LSD at around £1500.

The lsd in my brothers car is whining, would he have to go for the full rebuild or is there an alternative?

To solve that a full rebuild would sort it
Prices from Gareth are reasonable

If you want a heavy duty LSD Kaaz have an excellent rep for drifting
Quaife LSD have lifetime guarantee and are maintenance free because is torsen LSD not clutch plates LSD

You could replace just the bad bearing, but while its out and in bits its the best time for a rebuild anyway
