Pah, that's nothing! I bought a set of 16x7 genuine Alpina wheels (tatty) with caps and good tyres, plus a decent blue leather interior (not Recaro) for Ԛ£100. Sadly this doesn't happen often enough.
Complete cars are best. My best buy had to be a 1988 320i Auto from Bawtry Car Auction for Ԛ£80 (Ԛ£60 plus their commision). It was a RHD German import (forces probably) and a rusty Dolpin grey nail - with Bilsteins, LSD, heated cloth Recaros, front fogs, OBC, working headlamp wash wipe, M Tech 1 wheel. I sold Ԛ£600 worth of bits from it and swapped the engine for a 325i LSD. The profit paid for a large chunk of my red Touring.
I wish I had one of those every week!
Ordinary scrapyards have no idea what some bits are worth which is why I don't bother with BMW specialist breakers. Especially FAB - expensive or what?

Called in at my favourite scrappy ( 150 miles from home ),on my way back from Dover, yesterday.
Picked up a 3.02 diff and an air filter box for my M50 conversion, a Touring rear right door complete, a fuel pump, a light delay module, a drivers door electric window set, and a few other odds and ends, all for Ԛ£40-00.

Scrappers near me are thieving gits!!! I was looking for a headlight for a mate and they wanted Ԛ£30 and it was still on the car - I said that G&S + Euro CP could do a new one for that!

OK then, we'll do it in public!!
I'm after a LHD passenger sport seat - ie RHD drivers seat (in Anthracite, which I think is the same as in your car, isn't it?).
I've been looking on ebay.de & ebay.nl but none of the vendors are prepared to sell me the pair that they are auctioning but only ship the good passenger seat and then scrap the tatty drivers seat (my very poor command of the German language probably doesn't help!).
Obviously, I'm prepared to pay for shipping and make it worth your while!
What I'm [really] hoping is that your "ignorant scrappie" will come up trumps again!
Cheers
Stuart.

BTW, did you ever get sorted with Powerslide? I had a couple of strange e-mails, but that was it.
