Hits chaps,
I've done a bit of searching as I want to upgrade the brakes on my 325i and have decided to go the E38 brembo route on the front but am unsure on the rear
I've read that I can use an e34 540 rear setup, with re drilled discs. Is this just a bolt in affair? If I got the calipers, carriers, new discs and pads would everything just line up or would I need adaptors?
Also for the front set up, do I need to change the fittings on the caliper to run my Goodridge hoses?
And finally, I can't seem to get an answer from th guy that initially made the Brembo brackets, so was wondering if there is anywhere else I could buy a set
Thanks in advance
Big brakes (Fr & Rr)

I used 540 gear all round on mine, and yes custom brackets are needed front and rear, which I was having made up a few years ago, some pics in here - http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... &start=325

Did you upgrade your M/C?
I've read you can use Golf GTI items and Renault Clio ones
Can anyone recommend anywhere that might be able to supply caliper carrier adaptors for the E38 Brembos on the front and 540 rear?
Thanks

I think you're confusing the M/C with the servo. People fit Golf and Clio servos not as an upgrade (it only affects how the pedal feels) but because, with an M5x conversion, the original no longer fits.

Ah I see, I did mean servo you're correct.
What about the master cylinder upgrade then? A worthy option if I'm going to be running bigger calipers?
Any recommendations?
