I have got the shell from my old coupe that i have literally stripped every last morsel off, and ive got a fella who wants to buy the shell off me? He said hes only going to cut it up for the decents bits of metal work. The shell isnt too bad a couple of bits of rust in a couple of the usual places, but then again most of the usual places are pretty clean. What would jus the shell be worth selling for? Im sort of guessing pretty much what ever a scrap car removal bloke would give for it in scrap weight, but i dont know how much that is. Basiclly i dont want to stitch myself up if i could just ring up a vehicle disposal firm to come and get it. £100??

A disposal firm wouldn't touch a bare shell; you've taken over 50% of the weight off it, so it's not worth the diesel to send the truck out to pick it up. So really it's worth between what it would cost you to transport it to a scrapyard, to however greedy you feel.
But if I was a buyer who just needed some metal shapes to weld to my own shell, and had to factor in the transport costs too, then 100 quid seems way too steep.

the price of scrap has plumeted ,i used to get around £70 for a shell and this was nearly £200 at one point when the chinese were going mad ...
i have my shells taken away for free now ...soo much less hassle for me than messing on for a clarty £50-£70

Scrap price is rubbish atm, I got last week £120 for a full Peugeot 406 I scrapped.
Prob be lucky to get £50-£80 for a shell.
