When are we going to see this sport rolling on the RS's?

I have VERY little spare time and it's been that way for a few years now.
That's why progress with my car is slow now. There is also a list of other jobs i keep going on about that need to get done!

Well you know what you have to do....
The BM or the better half will have to go.

I wish i had a spare day!

I've got to make the time at some point.
I've got a week off work before Gaydon. Maybe then.

Yep, got all the correct sealant and locktite and some Wolfs rim sealant.

Normal high temp sealant would have done the job, and good job on the Loctite.
Bolts need to be torqued to 22-24 ft/lbs in a criss/cross pattern for RS's

Yes Rav its just some high temp sealant, the wolfs stuff is what Kos recommended as a LSP for the wheels and to apply it before building up.
Maxtek, which car do you have?

Recently purchased a Tech-2 325i Sport, it's in pretty good condition and I could definitely get away with leaving it as is, but I'd much rather have a prime example of a car and after going through this thread its really 'inspired' me to get it sorted.
Fack!
Been too long since ive updated this but have just been using every day. Still not finished building up the RS's
Thought i'd post today though as my car is exactly 25 years old today.
Build date 20.10.89!

Happy Birthday Barry's Sport

Finally finished re-reading this entire thread over the past week and a half. Interesting to see the evolution of this car.
Shame photobucket removed most of the pictures but at least the heated mirror pictures were still there as I bought a set a couple of months ago having read about them on some American forum so now need to check if mine are real or I whether I've been had

Only just seen your post!
The pics were uploaded with image shack back in the day. If I had the time I would go through the thread and edit and update it accordingly replacing pics but spare time is rare for me!

Well well.
Nearly 5 years since an update!
Had a look back through this thread and so much of it has been decimated by the downfall of imageshack and photobucket,
Not a great deal has changed on the car. The BBS RS's were sold on before they made it to the car and little else has been done other than routine maintenance.

A rare set of 16x7.5 ET25 Ronal ACT turned up a year or so ago so they went on wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres but they have since been sold on recently to be replaced with something else, More of that next week.
