Moderator: martauto
I just got 1 free in a Meguiers Pack that i bought..
MAde of silicone and arnt surposed to scratch yer paintwork at all and surposed to have less friction applied than most terry towels and chamois..
Anyone used one of these things?
Are they any good?

i use one and they are superb
doesnt apply to you but the cheap copy ones will mark your paint but a good branded one like you have are the business and will not mark paint
invented in california and originally brought out as the "californian water blade"
you will still need to quickly wipe what the blade leaves after you have used it
ie where blade wipes will remove all water but you cant get it in all spots due to size etc
but cuts drying time down massively
i use one then use a wffle weave towel and i will dry my m3 in about 5 minutes and it will be bone dry

i use one and its the business, (branded as "flexiblade) was about a tenner and my bro got it from a car show, they were all from the states by the look of that and everything else they were selling
as john says, not the best around lips/ridges gaps etc , but on falt panels they rock

We use those "blade" things to dry our cars at work. (Hertz) - Definately cuts down drying time especially as we do around 80 a day at mom.
Very impressed with them - just don't drop it. If you do then make sure there are no sand grains lying around or you'll hate yourself for weeks.

yeah my mate recently bought one for his civic and
i gotta admit i was very impressed
trying to fully dry a car from scratch with a chamois
is a nightmare but the blace takes about 75% off and then
you just rub the rest off with a chamois etc
but judging by jon i might be buying one of those weaves.
if he uses them on his awesome m3 they've gotta be good
can you let me know some prices jon
cheers mate
