Is this more aggro than it's worth ?

A mate is looking to sell an early e46 318ise with a blown head gasket. Apart from the engine issue it's very straight with standard alloys and good tyres and he wants £300 is it worth a punt or more aggro than it's worth to buy to break ?

Avoid ! I bought a 318 with a noisey bottom end for £100. If it did not have minty heated black leather, I would not have touched it. It has taken me two months to get proper money for the interior and now it is time to start attempting to serve the rest. I can't wait ! not :(

Its a waste of time. My scrap yard is full of E46s now and I was suprised how few E36s there were.

coupes with proper engines and nice spec still hold value, same for the cabs. A fruited touring 330d are still going for 4-5k if not more. The B3s alpinas are still making good money

They aren't all worthless just the early pre facelift 4dr 4pots, and 6 pots
