Hi guys
I have bought an m50b25 it came with a loom that is ment to be for that engine but the loom does not have the two knock sensors on it and idle controls valve :/
If any one could help would be much appreciated!

you may have an ODII harness, it only has one connector for the knock sensors. They split off from one connector.

The only two female plugs Iv got is off crank sensor and cam sensor :/

No not that i can see! And the loom is on the car at the mo! Im no expert but there should be two sensors for them. Help me please lol

actually non vanos engines built before 9/92 won't have them

Its a 1991 engine none vanos it in my e30

Maybe its been messed with, but if it is a non vanos loom there wont be any connectors for knock sensors

Thanks danthe that would explane alot!! So it is the rite loom for the engine! Just wonderd why it would have them on the block but not the loom! Also its a Very tight fit!!!

Its probably a vanos engine thats been fitted with a non vanos head/loom/ECU etc

Yes, on the intake side of the block, one next to cylinder 2 one next to cylinder 5

Because the non vanos engine doesn't use knock sensors
