Wont Start

Went to start E30 325i and wont start ! Turning over ok checked fuel ok checked spark and have spark out of coil but not from plug leads put new dis arm and cap on no difference any ideas could it be crank angle sensor later type 1990 type cheers david

Leads in the correct ports on the dis. cap? Carbon button and spring in the middle of the cap gone missing?

I feel your pain. I had that happen to me, which is what prompted me to write the wiki article in the first place

Are you going to rebuild the head, or just drop a new engine in?
