About 800 Sports left if this is the right link
Not that rare then
http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/bmw_325_i_sport

The autos on the other hand very very rare

I didn't know there was 325i Sport Touring as listed on the website above. Don't think is E30 maybe E46 ?

So production numbers wise
Tech 1 : Tech 2
2:3
So Tech1s aren't that rare then based on numbers made
2000:3000 approx

1850 odd tech 1s, is not a lot , and 25 years later not many left and a big percentage of those are clinging on to an mot, how many will be left in 5-10 years , and once them dogs have been broken and met china and the days of 2k eBay shed tech 1s are long long gone and only the very fittest survive ... They will be a valuable and desired e30

As Andyboy said, a 325i sport will be a £20k car before long.

I'll never sell it so it's value is irrelevant to me other than for insurance purposes.

When the sheds are gone prices rise

Even cars like xr2s and 3s now have some 5-7k cars, restored super sports even are fortunes - for 1.3 fiesta !! , even mk4 xr3is the prices has risen dramatically in 2 years with £3-4k examples- sport money, and an e30 325i sport is in every way leagues better than any if the above and in the long term will command higher prices

Soon as all the sport sheds and e30 sheds in general disappear , and have been broken and drifted to china ,the prices and desire will dramatically soar

I would hardly call £3-5k Fords or any classic car in that price range expensive IMO
When is £20k plus then we are talking ....

I didn't say they were expensive , I said a restored 1.3 fiesta super sport are fortunes ..look up the prices if there are any nice ones for sale

But 3 or 4k for a mk4 xr3i , is either expensive or an e30 325i sport for same money is cheap, compared to how the long term prices will look ...
