so i put my e30 on the dyno down at jrm motorsport (the old sumo power building down in rye east sussex)
i thought i would see what sort of power the old girl was putting down, i know the b20 doesn't have many fans on here tbh. They also don't seem to make very gd power.
So i was very suprised to see my car pull 121.6 bhp and 119lbft at the wheels. now from what ive been told bmw's normally have a 15-16% transmission lose which make's about 140bhp and 138lbft of torque at the flywheel.

i was pretty pleased to say the least :)

it has one of you speedtouch wild chips on it and a b25 throttle body, the dyno opp said its got a rich spot between 2700-3200rpm. Thats the reason the torque curve is a bit wobbly apart from that he said it was spot on and was very impressed

lambda 1.19 is about 17.5:1 AFR which is lean but doesnt seem to be causing any power delivery issues.

looks a reasionably healthy specimen anyway
