I definitely want a short shifter so count me in. I have an E46 M3 S54 with the 6 speed box in my E30 but I think your shifter is the same for both E30 and E46 isn't it? Can you still do anodised black?

This offer includes free postage. I have only one shifter ready, so if there's a group buy you would have to wait few weeks till you receive it

This shifter doesnt fit any car if you are thinking it's bolt on :D . You need to manufacture stand, but the gear levers fits all bmw models.
I could offer laser cut stands that would be really easy to instal for aditional 20gbp.
If there would be enough people who want it anodized i could make them all black.

Do you prefer to weld the stand to the driveshaft tunel or mount it using bolts ?

For me I would weld or bolt it makes no difference to be honest as mine is a full shell built!

NP Parts have you sorted these issues above mentioned in the above link????
I am aware that you are giving us a very good deal but it still needs be a quality product!
I am building a 360bhp S54 powered E30 which is a pilot car for my business so it needs to be right, I'm very excited about getting a quality shifter in.

Oh dear a perfect example of how a company's reputation can be ruined by word of mouth, this was only a few months ago too. I was dubious at first until gooseygander110 rated them on the for sale thread.

I dunno what to do now. My car is a long term project, so I plan on building it once and building it right!

P.s James your S54 e30 sounds like it's going to be an animal! Any build thread up yet?

EDIT: P.p.s Thanks for the heads up willnz! Top Zone Team Member

Ive read this before like i said on the other for sale thread, I was willing to give it a try, BUT its going in to a comp drift car and if it snapped like that while i was at a race weekend that would of cost me over £1000 to be there i would be sooooo pissed off,

NP have you fixed the snapping problem? Thanks

We have found that we were suplyed with lower grade aluminum then ordered. Currently we have sold 14 shifters and we are using 3 of them in our competition cars this season. 2 of all shifters broke and we have supplied another handle for local guy, but american started flaming..

That sceptic mounted his badly with lots of old oversize nuts 8O I wouldn't be surprised if he gave it a good yanking .....I mean forcing and got the throw wrong  ..........mine arrived in a timely manner.....yes one has to be patient ......... I haven't actually fitted mine yet but have no reservations about it.....
I have also ordered and received other orders from these blokes and on one occasion rang them up, all parts arrived as agreed and payed for.........to date ......no problems......... the sceptics are an impatient lot ....... all guns blazing !!

Agreed always build it right first time if you can and thanks for the heads up willnz.
Thanks man, I've not got a build thread up yet as I'm buying up parts so I will have a giant Lego set of cool stuff ready to be put together... Oh and the budget took a hit when I bought genuine E30 M3 panels to go on it rather than fibre glass :)

Nice to see your support :) We can still wait for one more, but i guess i could start manufacturing them. I would manufacture 5 at a time so if there is someone who wants to join feel free to ask.

All those who are ready to order - sales@npparts.com 125gbp for shifters. I don't want to charge for stands becouse i haven't tested them yet..

Also we strongly recommend to use solid engine and transmission mounts with the short shifter.

As a result you get the most precise shifting and reduce unwanted engine movement.

All 3 buyers of the shifter have confirmed their purchase.
We are manufacturing 4 shifters anyway, so if you would like to get this product in group buy price, you're still welcome.
