I'm looking for some guidance and advice on cleaning my leather seats, conditioning and protecting them.

They're Indigo blue Recaro seats in a cabriolet.

I've read on here that Gliptone products are very good and work well to clean and restore leather.
So I'm guessing the first thing to do would be to clean the leather, and then condition and feed the leather?

I've read that it's best to use Gliptone GT12 as a cleaner, and then Gliptone GT11 as a conditioner?

So would these be the best products to use?

Any one tried Gliptone GT13 on their cabriolet leathers? Apparently it's a good waterproofer too for leathers that are in contact with water regularly, not such a bad idea for leaky E30 cabs I'd imagine; unless it damages the 20 year old leather!

I've used the Gliptone products several times and always been more than happy with the results.

Would they help in rejuvinating and adding some colour/darkening the leather back to it's original glory?

Being Indigo leather and not Black leather is a bit difficult to find a product which restores colour as finding a match would be difficult.

Any tips on how to add colour back to the Indigo leather?

Thanks :)

GT11 and GT12 are excellent products. I used them on my seats and i am very pleased with the end result. The leather was exceptional and original throughout but dirty and hard. These products have made them extremely nice!

The only pic I have at hand at the mo....

I too used Gliptone on my e46 leathers, and will break it out on the E30 once it's painted.

Seemed to give good results, but I've nothing else to compare it to.

If it needs to be dyed/touched back in, Bespoke Leathing (I think) do a kit that gave great results on my e46. I'm hoping the colour is the same as the E30, as then I can colour the cracks back to black too :)
