What does this switch do ? Also all white detailing off my switches has rubbed /faded . Are they still available from steelers??

I think it's the rear window circuit breaker. It prevents children from playing with the rear windows.

This is out of my BMW manual but In the picture it doesn't have the other button on the opposite side like yours. Also this is from a US version E30.

My firewall does not allow me to see attached pictures but if you are talking about the longer type switch opposite the small square rear window locking button, then it is the isolator for all the windows.
The small square does the rear, the bigger opposite all windows.
Hope that makes sense (just finishing a 12 hour night shift lol).

The switch circled disables the window switches on the rear doorcards, leaving the rear windows controlled by the rearmost switches on the console only, and never had any markings on it.
The bigger switch to its right is a circuit breaker for the whole electric window system, which will cut the power if a window jams (against someones neck), or a window switch is held down to long
