I rang up BMW **** for manual aerials **** you can only buy chrome ones.
However, I am reliably told they are supposed to be black Beru aerials
So do Tech1 325i Sports come with black aerials or chrome aerials ?

Pony, I think you should be called polsta 2!
I told you already, by text that cars with shadow line trim (that includes all sports) should have a black aerial not a chrome one.
Hirschman are the OEM BMW ones but beru make an indentical one which is good.
ECP sold the beru ones at one point, so ask them if they still do them.

Is your post applicable to manual aerials ?
I want a manual aerial rather than electric.
I think when BMW asked I told them I wanted manual rather than electric which might explain why they only offered chrome one from BMW.

I hear the manual ones are the best.

Only in silver, but permanent marker pens work wellgooner1 wrote:Gert_8 wrote:I hear the manual ones are the best.

Sports were never all black aerials because they were often fitted with whatever audio the dealer retro fitted.
Most didn't have audio when brand new as was option.

Yes, BUT , you then have to enlarge the hole as the black ones are bigger
