you can set the alarm off (BMW original fit) and still start the car

also if u put the code into the obc and turn it off and on again it asks
my for the code but u can start the car fine.

Also nect to my ecu are 2 plugs 1 black 1 white any idears what these are for..

Empty sockets beside ECU are used with things like aircon and switchable auto gearboxes.
Your immobiliser doesn't work because someone has probably dissabled it.
Remove the top panel above the glovebox, and you should find a white two pin socket with two green wire going to it. E30s without OBC or alarm have a plug fitted to this which just has a short loop of green wire linking the pins.
Your car should have one wire from the OBC and one wire from the OE alarm going to this socket, but it sounds like it's been got at.
Bought an iS a month or so ago with a similar problem. That had a scotchlock connector across the two green wires going to the white socket.

Glovebox ECU is for ABS.
If you unplug the loom with the green/something wires from the box above the engine ECU, then your car shouldn't start. If it does, then either the immobiliser hasn't been connected, or it's been disabled.
Are you saying that your car still has the plug with the loop of green wire still fitted?

Pull that plug/socket apart and see if it starts.

One of the wires from the glovebox plug should go to one of the immob contacts of the OE alarm, and the other wire from the glovebox plug should go to the immob socket of the black box above the engine ECU.
The other immob terminal of the OE alarm and the other terminal of the black box immob socket should be connected together.
You'll have to trace the wires through and see how yours is arranged.
