Removal of 325i sump ? Help :)

Hi I need to remove my sump on the e30 what's the best way to do it ?

Undo both engine mounts and jack the engine up it will slide out then it's still fidly

You can also drop the subframe a bit. Unscrew one bolt each side and fit much longer bolts in their place before removing the other bolts. This will keep the subframe located, but allow it to drop down, and will make it much easier to get back into place.
