hi all. my 325 sw/auto cab, makes what can only be described as a 'trilling' noise on pulling away from standstill. Lasts a split second. Only does it at that time and I can't think of another way of describing the noise. It appears to come from the propshafy/gbox area in the transmission tunnel. Car revs and drives fine. Anyone any clues??

The only thing I've experienced with a similar noise is a blocked filter. It's not an expensive part (from dealers) and fairly easy to get to via the inspection panel underneath. Means a achange of ATF though but that will do no harm. Regular oil changes are the key to longeavity. As I say, not an expert, so get a second opinion!
