Have a 325i Sport 1987. The back bumper is all wonky and pushed forwards on both sides, I would like to remove it and either correct it or buy a new one. Only thing is, I haven't got a clue how to get it off! Help me please

Four bolts behind the rear valence and 1 in each wheel arch.

I've seen so many answers now, I'm still confused. A lot of people are saying.. good luck, get a professional body worker to do it as it involves re-welding.. Some say bolts some say from the inside. But my main concern is that a lot of these e30 have different bumpers on and I'm really not sure what type I have.

My experience is with convertibles.diable wrote:From inside of the boot I believe.BenHar wrote:Four bolts behind the rear valence and 1 in each wheel arch.

I believe that tin tops have three of the bolts for the rear mountings under the valence and one in the boot.

Thee is only 2 types preface lift or facelift
Metal or plastic.
You have the metal it's been a long time since I removed one.
There are 2 brackets that are bolted through the body with 2 bolts each and the ends of the bumper rubbers are bolted through the rear arch.
Maybe this will help
