What does this plug do?

Just wondered if anyone can tell me what the plug that's clipped under the battery tray in the engine bay? It's a round plug with 4 pins inside I think....

I'll try and get a picture up if it would help.

It's where the lambda sensor would plug in, if you had one. Should have a blanking plug fitted into it.
