a standard M10 is pratically worthless these days, maybe £50 if it's in good nick.

the thing is racing a 2.5 6pot against a 1.8 4pot does not prove any thing just that 2.5 produces more power than a 1.8. which doesn't take a genius to work out in the first place.

i dont care about racing or how much powwweeeeeer it produces just when you open you bonnet and it puts a smile on yours and the guy standing next you's face and you get the compliments that iv seen on here

Not necessarily, Mr Pete.

Most powerful M10 I've ever seen was a £75 scrapyard 316 engine with a home made angle iron manifold with two Ford VV carburettors along with a turbo from a Peugeot 406 HDi. It was all chipped up and everything, 800 bhp at the spare wheel innit.

I remember that bad boy, it was f0000king gnarly. Rhino , the owner, used to p1ss on it before a race , he reckoned thats what the F1 boys did, innit.
