Only had the car a few months and just noticed the bumpers are chrome :screwy: and have been sprayed black. Did all cabs have chrome bumbers, as mines a 89' which I thought would be a plastic bumper model or is that just on the saloons?
cheers.

Ah, I see can you get plastic to replace then or will have to be chrome again as they have been painted by Rolfie.

They fit completely different plastic ones have little shocks that mount them, the front panel is different on face lift cars to but this is a bolt on part and easy to swap so for the front its mainly swapping old for new.

The rear bumper is a complete arse u have to either make brakets or
cut the rear panel about to fit the shock mounts but then the dont fit round the sides where the bumper meets the arch. Ive seen them left like this they hang inside the arch about 1/2 an inch u could cut the ends down and make new ones.

shit, that sounds like too much like hard work, not sure whether to take back to chrome or get resprayed. I think colour coding looks better, but it is then not original.
