I wonder if I could ask a bit of advice if anyone would be so kind,
I bought my second e30 a couple of months ago and its really clean and has been clearly looked after. Its an 320i automatic (sigh i know ha its nothing like my manual 325!)
Its come to my attention that its overfuelling and im getting terrible mpg, When left to run it chucks out black soot from the exhaust and very occasionally it loses power when driving gently, it soon kicks back in when you put your foot down so im thinking something is blocked? Have been told to take it to the fuel injection centre in bolton but after ringing them they say they dont touch old cars anymore!
Can anyone help? Thanks

For starters, get the injectors pulled and send them off to Injectortune.
Second, type in "Blue Temp Sensor" into the Wiki and read it properly. DO NOT start swapping parts without testing things first.
Other than that, a decent service may well be needed.
