I have done a stupid thing and put some slick 50 in my old oil. Bad move. I think it's blocked my oil spray bar on my M20 engine. Want to get rid of it. What's the thought on a engine flush additive then new oil and filter?

Take off the oil spray bar and soak it in petrol overnight. Blow it through with an air compressor.
Do a regular oil change with a new filter, but use oil for diesel engines. Drive it for a few hundred miles, then swap it for a good synthetic and another new filter.
Stay away from additives in the future.
