Hello Chaps

There's a 1996 E36 328i manual appeared in my local scrapyard. Just wondering if it's worth saving the crank (or engine) and/or any other bits. I built an M20B28 a couple of years ago and sourcing the correct crank wasn't that easy, just wondering what they're going for now or if they're getting thin on the ground.

Been out of the E30 loop for a while.

Cheers

Depends how much you can buy it for, if its a runner and complete with loom/ECU/manifolds/gearbox then its £300 worth as it is

Not a fortune then! Probably can't find out for sure if it runs and I doubt I can get the keys for it as well to go with the ECU. I'll have a chat with them shortly just to see, cheers.

Just fancied having the crank in stock for a future M20 build, but I guess it would be easier to have the whole engine sitting somewhere just in case.
