Its quite involved changing from drums to discs as you need to change the trailing arms as they are different.
Easiest way is to drop the whole are the rear suspension including cross member and diff then swap the trailing arms when its all on the ground.
you need to change the handbrake cable as well... and all the brake lines from the rear axel back.
Other than that its fine!

He has already got discs, the question was how difficult it is to change the old discs etc for new ones.Gwynleym10 wrote:Its quite involved changing from drums to discs as you need to change the trailing arms as they are different.

Quote me if i'm wrong but i don't think he mean't from, "Drum's to Disc's". I thought the cab's already had disc's all round anyway for the weight?Gwynleym10 wrote:Its quite involved changing from drums to discs as you need to change the trailing arms as they are different.

Anyway, if you are doing it how i think you are, it's not that hard if you've done similar work before. As your changing the disc's you will see the handbrake shoe's when you pull the disc off. I doubt you will need to change the shoe's as they are not used for braking but will probably just need to clean the adjuster so they move more easier.
