If it does need a box, they are the same as an E36 328i or 3.0 M3.

The linkage at the top of the box is a very commonly failure, the top bearing on top of the shaft collapses. You can replace the bearing for a couple of quid and jobs a good'un. I've worked on a fair few trannys

I have ordered some new sound insulation for the boot floor and the turd will be going in a body shop for repair this week

Boot floor rear subframe fully sorted, next up full
Oil service and wheel refurb and some new rear tyres, not sure what to get.

I think Michelin pilot sport 2s were factory fit (they are on my set I bought with the car). I am unsure if they are still available in that size?
I had to fit PS3s to my 18s as PS2s were NLA. Both are good tyres with the ps2 being more track focused. What is currently on the front?

Ive stuck the car over my Sisters place at Hayling, someone round here got the hump after i parked it outside his gaff for 5 weeks.
The tyres on the car are SP3 contacts mate,will get pics up asap.

One of the ABS sensors has gone tits up,how can I tell which one without taking them off and trying a new one on?

You need to scan it Chris . Most decent scanners will tell you which one is dead, assuming it is a sensor . The sensors are not dear but removing the old ones can be unpleasant.

Or an oscilloscope. Gives you the ability to test sensors individually.
