Hi have a issue with my n/s electric window all other windows work hope someone can shed some light on this for me?

Its a 318i convertible 1993 facelift

Ok n/s window went down now nothing will not work at all, I have tried everything the wiki say

Checked for dirt in switch
Checked fuses 17 and 28 - 28 was blown fitted new fuse still no joy
Bridged Pins 30 & 87 on k5 relay
Looked for Green/black wire to starter can't see so cleaned all terminals
Nothing has worked?

It does say That the Green/black wire is very last in the list and will find that my wing mirrors will not work or my heater blower the thing is the heater blower still works the o/s wing mirror works but when I flip it to n/s just get a clicking sound and wont move

sorry bit of a big speel but if anyone can help would be very grateful

cheers

I.E, the one from the working side.

Since your door mirror is acting up as well, I'd take a look at the plug in the 'A' pillar where the door loom plugs in. It's likely that someone at some time has tried to refit the rubber boot on the plug with the plug in place, which will result in water getting in, and along with the ignition switched power to the mirror, has caused corrosion.

Near side door loom is the one you should have been looking at! It's the near side window you said didn't work.

Did you refit the plugs properly? The rubber boots MUST be fully refitted to the plugs BEFORE the plugs are pushed into the sockets.
