And now fitted - and they look great! Just one question on bleeding - are there any tricks to this, or is it each of the 4 nipples per calliper one at a time?keri-WMS wrote:Good stuff!anothere21323i wrote:Waiting for me today when I got home form workkeri-WMS wrote: Sorry - they are with UPS (picked up yesterday) so you should have them today/tomorrow.

Ignore the bottom ones (just make sure they are done up), bleed the inboard then outboard on one wheel, then repeat for the other and you should be good to go!

We've had an outstanding batch arrive, so we're ready to look at what to run next - and it's 2-pot 290mm rear kit time again! This kit isn't normally stocked, we make it in batches every now and then when several people want it at once.
If anyone's interested in a rear kit (or front and rear), please drop me a PM.
(There are several people I've been talking to but that need to reply to, don't worry I'll get back to you ASAP - I'll make sure no one misses their chance.)
The 280mm and 298.5mm front kits are also still on the shelf.

I'm no expert but I'm guessing one of those tabs at the bottom that says 'PM Me' or 'Email' or 'WWW' that takes you to his website with the email at the top of the page ;)maggspower wrote:Hi there Keri,

Sorry, sarcasm rarely comes across well on the internet, clearly I have neither the vocabulary or diction to convey this, the lowest form of wit, always.
In other works, I have fookin' tried all normal methods, I was writing a wanted ad for a clairvoyant, but then I thought if they were any good they would come and find me

I do have an email backlog I have to admit and apologise for. At this point we also have no E30 brackets (we do make this in-house though), and very limited calipers.
I'm in the process of replacing some suppliers which will improve things in the future.
To give some idea of how bad it got, the last (final?) order I placed came with a "4 week" lead time. It took six months before I saw anything - and to date only half of that order ever arrived. I'm not holding my breath on the rest, although it's totally in that supplier's hands to come through in the future.
This has left us in an impossible and worstening situation for a good while now - huge stock fluctuations and an ever increasing pool of people who are waiting for kits to become available.
Until we are up and running with some additional suppliers that's all I can say....

Just an update to let people know that this is still the situation, I'm still exploring various options in terms of suppliers.....
No new kits are available (the last two are reserved) but spare discs/pads etc ARE and will remain so.

Anything?

There's light at the end of the tunnel - for the front 4 pot kits at least.
We have a new supplier for the caliper and hope to have these in stock again in the near future!
No joy for the rear but I'll keep trying to find a way to to sort it.

Well we've got beta-test revised calipers to play with now so (all being well) a re-stock should happen soon....
