Hi,
Loving the WIKI pages! Inspired to retrofit front gogs i've got all the gear and think I may have a problem with the new 2 position foglight switch. It won't even switch on the existing rear fogs. Is there an easy way of testing the switch? The previous owner swears he tested it prior to sdending to me. I'm wondering if i'm doing something really daft.
Help is much appreciated. Thanks. :x

Disconnect the switch and use a piece of wire to link together pins 2 (yellow/black) and 4 (grey/purple) to check the rear fogs, and pins 7 (grey) and 5 ( grey/blue) to check the fronts.
The daft thing you could be doing is not turning the ignition and lights on.

The switches often need cleaning.

Take them apart (watch out for the boingfuckits) and clean them.

By boingfuckits do you mean those 2 springs that flirted across my room when I took the switch part? Whey-hey.

Yes, it was full of green slime, I cleaned up the insides and now I've got a green light on the dash and everything. Whoo-Hoo.

Thanks all, great fun this messing with cars you can actually fix... :P
