Cannot comment on hr, but Eibach are not "oem height" they are slightly lower but not "too low"decent springs and conciderably cheaper than oem BMW springs around a quarter of the price , just fitted a new set to my 325i and also had them on my old 318is , decent springs give a good drive

I left H&R on the car for 500 miles or so and removed them with Eibach's. Did not like the ride quality on the H&R's and it sat slightly too low for my liking. Very happy on the Eibachs though.

Don't forget a decent set of shocks. Welcome. :)

+500 for Eibach. I've fitted two or three sets lately, fantastic quality and they work.

So do H&R which is my preferred choice.

Just a question here..
I've got Eibach springs and B8 Bilsteins on my 318iS and I find the ride a bit too harsh.
It feels a bit too rough and takes away some of the pleasure of driving. I think it's just an issue on the front, the back feels OK.
It might be me getting old, but my daily car is a 120D on M-sport suspension (and much lower profile tyres) and that feels firm, but fine.
Does anyone else have a similar issue?
Is it worth going to the hassle of changing the front springs?
Thanks

B8s are the problem. I wouldn't want anything stiffer than B4s on UK roads.

Tyre size is also an important factor for comfort

Have the B4's on mine and they're super.

Thanks for the useful comments..
I'm not sure which way to go now though.
I never really thought about it before ordering them, but maybe the B8's are a bit too harsh for my tastes.
I guess I'll be living with it for now anyway - I still love the iS!
