You will most likely have clearance issues on the rear.
225/45/16 are available in the UK, can you not find someone that will ship internationally?

I run 225/45/16's on my rear.... however, I have read that Alpina originally specified 205/50/16's!!!!!!!!!!
Can't confirm how accurate that is, but I read it somewhere good enough, that I made a not of it in my phone!!!
Just for info, I'm running 205/45/16 on my fronts!!!
There's loads of tyre size calculator things if you google it, which will show an image of the two tyre sizes you pick, so you can see how different the width/diameter/etc will be!!! I've always found that pretty useful for sourcing some alternate size options!!!!

I can get things shipped over for a sensible price, but it's on a container so it's not fast shipping service

Camskills used to ship to Cyprus for a very very reasonable price.
I had a nice sideline going and doing a decent trade with my brother in law until they stopped shipping there. Reason they stopped is because the prices got ramped up.
Cyprus being an island will involve either sea or air freight, sea takes too long, air got to expensive

Should be 205/50/16 front and 225/45/16 rear on 7 and 8j rims respectively.

Kinda know that from what I wrote above!!! Will be changing them for the correct size in a couple of months - just showing there are other useable options!!!
