Very nice mate. Are the mirrors ACS or are they DTM ones?

Cheers Guys for all the great comments!

E30Beemerlad,
when I bought the car it came with the glass fiber bonnet which was held on by pins. I have now removed it and added the original.

E46ACS,
Yep they are genuine AC Schnitzer Mirrors

M3ben05,
The car was kitted out with most of the AC Schnitzer parts back in 1988 by BMW Frankfurt.
The car has the following Genuine AC Schnitzer bits:
Exterior
17" Wheels
Mirrors
Single Wiper
Rear surround
Full suspension

Interior
Pedal Set
Steering Wheel
Short Shift gear knob.

Since I have bought it I have added an Alpha N and Carbon Airbox

Cheers
Sunny

Im thinking of doing the alpha N/ Carbon box on my cecotto, what sort of power gains are you getting? Im guessing you are still running the original 2.3 and not the Schnitzer 2.5?

If it's an ACS like the guy says it is 8) then I don't see why it shouldn't have the 2.5? Not that I'm an ACS expert :)

I got the impression its an evo 2 (as in the title) with the full ACS kit fitted. I could easily be wrong, thats why i asked as its not mentioned.

Thanks Guys,

Jimbob,
The car is specced up similar to the S3 except the engine. It is just a standard Evo 2 engine with Alpha N and Carbon Airbox.

MEben05,
The alpha N is the way to go...the car becomes a lot more driveable at the bottom end and the mid rang. Trust me it will be the best investment you have ever made.
If you do decide to go with the Alphan N you will have to buy a WBO2 if you are going to set up the car yourself!
The Carbon Airbox is fantastic for noise it sounds awesome...I guess it makes a bit of difference right at the top of the rev range!
If you are interested I know someone who has the kit forsale from last years Xmas group buy. He has never used the kit and it is all boxed. He just wants what he paid for it.

Mr Bmw,
I have a set of 17x8's and 9's BBS (similar to the pic) for the summer with a polished lip and Negaro silver centers. The Schnitzer wheels are part of the S3 spec and are ideal for winter as they are laquared so don't have to worry about the salt on the roads. Thanks for the link though, as the Schnitzer wheels were refurbed by the previous guy who had the car but they have used the wrong bolts when they put them back together :x .

I will give them a call about some bolts and maybe the outer lip for one of the front wheels!

Thanks
Sunny
