the de chrome kit on both my 318i and 325i both 1989 has flaked off in certaion places. what can be done

hi ive just got some dechrome tape from ebay and it looks good!use shadowline in the ebay search,it might be what you need

let us know how you get on fitting it !
i flatted mine down and repainted them but the paint is coming off again after a few months maybe the tape would be a bit more durable

its already fitted,it was a bit fiddily on the curves,but it looks spot on :)

a lad i know used black electrical tape and for an extremely
cheap way of doing it, it does look spot on :D

i only noticed cos he told me and after looking right up close
i can just about notice it. if its done well then i doubt
anyone would ever notice :cool: :cool:
