Hi guys

I see some zoners have said its a good thing to have your injectors serviced by injector tune. What are the main benefits you will gain from this ?

Quick turnaround, before and after flowchart, new parts as req. Zoner's discount and as Brianmoore says, "the best value you'll ever spend on your e30! Highly recommended.

It obviously depends on the existing state of your injectors - if they are working as they should, then there will be no gains whatsoever!
However, experience tells us that after 50,000 or so miles they will be significantly down on flow rate, will be flowing different rates relative to each other, and the spray patterns will be less than optimum. Since the average E30 injector has probably covered closer to 150,000 miles than 50,000, and has probably never been removed from the manifold, the gains can be significant.

Of course it can! There are very few feedback loops in the engine management system of an E30, and the ECU just outputs pulses to the injectors that will inject the correct amount of fuel for both economy and power IF the injectors are performing as they should. In most cases they aren't, and the ECU has no way of knowing this, so the mixture fed to the engine is weak, causing hesitation on pick up, poor economy and reduced power.

If they haven't been rebuilt, and in most cases they won't have been, then you can assume that they are working with reduced performance.
With petrol prices as they are, the exercise will pay for itself in a very short time.
