Guys, it's stupid question time..

Can the metal grill be removed from the plastic surround that it comes on?

I wont to give it all a good clean and polish and have removed it from the car.. but the metal grills are held on by 4 little plastic clips/screws which I cannot get off, and I've a feeling if I push any harder on them, someits gonna snap!

Is there a knack to this, or are they just unremovable!

Yeah £48.91 plus VAT lol... guess I'll just have to work around it! I polished the front and got rid of a load of marks, but wanted to spray the plastic and get in the little craneys! Guess it'll do! Thanks anyway.

The chrome bit is held on with little plastic rivets. To remove the rivets you push the centre out of them and they just pull out. A small pin punch is ideal but a little screwdriver would do it.

Yeah I've been trying that with a knife... but these rivets are tough as nails! I've given it a metal polish and cleaned the plastic up.. not perfect but it's back on the car and looking pretty good! Cheers mate

Centre pin has to be pushed right out of the rivet, then they come out easily. If you use a small screwdriver to push out the pins, it will need the tip cut off first, or it will cut into the pins and spread them, rather than pushing them out.
