Hi Gents,

Does anyone know where I can source these exact black arch extensions?

There's a guy selling some on RetroRides forum.

Different widths too, and you can mix and match.

I've had messages from members here asking about my arches. Saying they bought expensive fibrewerks copy arches which were shit. They then bought same as me, and were happy.

I made my own fibreglass wings + wide arch recently. It took aaaaages but the results are decent. The wing weighs about 1.5kgs too so that a bonus. They add about 30mm.

Have you thought about flaring the stock arches Andrew? Mine were way easier to do than I thought they'd be. :)

Mine are from DTMfibrewerks.

They fit nicely, but come an unpainted whitish/gray colour. My only concern with them is that if I ever blow a tyre they will get properly shredded and require replacing as they are not flexible.

Hi Dave, I have the rear arches flared, not a great deal, but I may have to give it another go!

Ive ended up ordering custom wheels and decided on running a staggered arrangement. Hope to update soon, sadly the wheels are going to take up to six weeks :(

Great results 327ire!!! :)

:thumb: I was two bob bitting myself when I attacked the first arch. I reckon the last one took less than half an hour. 8)
I cut the lip back with a grinder so it was about 7mm, tapped it flat (so it was folded back inside the arch), then (seeing as I didn't have easy access to an arch roller) got an aluminium scaffold pole and rolled it between the tyre and arch while tapping it flat with a wide headed panel beaters hammer. Finished flattening/shaping the edge of the arch with the hammer an an appropriate dolly. I beat a very slight bubble into the arch too. :) I'd say that with some care and some gentle heat, it *might* be possible to get away with only having to re-touch the very bottom of the arch where it's folded.

The inner arch took a bit of modding to get clearance too of course.

Cheers. :D
