Check out http://www.cover-zone.com/product_range.php . I purchased their indoor cover for mine, really nice fit and the inside is nice and soft. Comes with straps and clips to clip underneath the car, and comes with rubber clip covers to prevent them scratching your paint when fitting etc.
I know people who have purchased the outdoor versions 'monsoon' and 'stormforce' for other cars, and I would've brought one of them if I didn't have the garage!

I take it you bought the sahara cover? The fleece lined one looks great until you see the price

I've had the storm force one for 5 years and use it out side all year round. It's gone a funny colour but still water proof and strong

I really don't fancy spending £180 on a car cover! ...I may have to...but I would rather spend my elsewhere...I am trying to be cheeky and find a used cover, albeit of a different car...I found a couple for MX5's...the StormForce from Cover Zone...around £50....I am wondering if I can get away with that??!!
...buy i think the E30 is significantly bigger...

I use and thoroughly recommend the Halfords all weather cover. The medium size is almost a perfect fit for the E30 and cost about £60. Totally waterproof, very robust and breathable. Doesn't scratch paint either like the plastic feeling ones. Has straps and clips that go underneath and survived the windiest NE Scottish days.
