Hi folks, today I attempted to fit a second hand Scorpion backbox to my 325i. Try as I might I just couldn't get the backbox to slide over the midsection pipes. It seems the pipes are slightly creased/battered as I've tried to show in the picture. Is it possible to have the pipes re-shaped so they will fit and who would do such work?

If you know someone who has a good vice, a piece of round bar just under the dia of your pipe and a 2lb hammer it's easy

Put the bar in vice, overhanging one end of jaws and tighten up firmly
Slide the exhaust pipe over the bar
Tap on the outside of pipe at the various distorted areas as they appear at the top, turning to different areas as you go, and after a while your pipe will assume a degree of roundness
Tapping can start at "gentle" and you can work up the force as required

Ace thanks, I'll see if I can find a decent bit of pipe that fits in the exhaust and get 'tapping' :-)

Take the back box and centre section to an exhaust place, they will expand the pipes with a proper hydraulic machine made for the job for no more than £10, its 10 minutes work max for somebody that knows what they are doing

I was looking at those exhaust expanders on eBay, only £20 but can't see me using it ever again so I'll pop into town tomorrow and see if the local exhaust place will do it for me. Thanks for the replies guys.
