whats peoples opinion on these cars...

are they in the same boat as the e30s, rust wise, issues, etc

noticed that the price of these hasnt really moved as much as other old fords...are they likely to?

What are they like to drive?

anyone on here own one?

The rot worse than E30!

They are great fun to drive, i have owned one and driven many.

Most are molested twefty million bhp turds now and good original low mileage cars are well north of £10k now.

Prices are only going one way!

First FWD car with a vicsous LSD and a homologation special.

I've got big love for the Series one. Here's a few pics of mine. Unrestored with only 82k and totally original bar a bailey dump valve and stainless system

As Barry has said they are worse than the e30s for rot so be very aware when buying. Not many good un restored ones left and prices are starting to go mental with them. It's I the 30th anniversary this year so no doubt prices will go up even more after the 30th anniversary bash.

Sadly had to let mine go, I got bored of the standard 130 bhp and fwd and couldn't bring myself to molest such an original example. Now lives in Devon
