Evening folks,

Does anybody know how to remove the plastic trim on the A pillar??

I ask as I'm going to be moving my extra gauges up to the A pillar instead of the ashtray so they are on my line of sight,

Thing is I can't find out how you remove it so I can run the wires behind it.

Any help would be fantastic as would a few pictures if anybody has any?

TIA. Steve.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Remove the door seal that runs along them, lift the edge from the frame. Then they pop from the top and slide upwards to remove.

They're not very expensive new from memory and good second hand ones are usually more expensive.

Think Polsta picked some up for his sport and said they were cheap, you'd have to check this thread though

as above pull the top to pull out the metal clip holding them in, then slide upwards, be careful as the plastic that holds the lower clip breaks, its a bit feeble, new ones about £12 each, was suprised they were still available, bargain and look great, if you get new ones get them from your chassis/reg from bmw, as they do differ if you have an overhead check control panel or not, and the fittings you have to also buy seperate

+1 - easy to break or damage when removing the dash. Well worth the £12 I paid each at the dealers.
